Red Rover the game

Red Rover is an outdoor game played by a group of kids. The first thing they need to do is to form 2 teams with the same amount of kids on each side.

Each team stands in a line holding hands and facing the opposing team. Then 1 of the teams will start the game by deciding who from the other team they want to come join theirs. So if they want Susan from the other team to join their team they say, “red rover red rover send Susan right over”

Then Susan tries to break the chain, by letting go of the two people she is holding hands with. If she is able to break through she joins the team that called her out. If she can’t break through she stays on her team.

Once this is done the other team gets to call someone. This goes back and forth until one team has all the members.
